Vix started to study knitwear fashion at Central Saint Martins but her restless nature meant she couldn't settle into her degree. Looking for an alternative way to unleash her creativity she started experimenting with feathers and making costumes for musicians. 

She wanted to combine her love of music festivals, with the sense of freedom and liberation that comes with it and also playing with colourful tactile fabrics and textures. 

Pica Pica Feathers gradually and organically grew and is now an established festival fashion boutique.
